Siren's Fayth- Lineart

<sub>Omigawd. Two submissions in one day. I must be sick or something.
FinalFantasy X is my favorite FF and I've always really wanted to just make a fayth based on one of the summons. So I decided to try one based on the original concepts of a siren.
I know most people actually think that sirens are from the sea (myself included until recently) but I did some research and found out that the concept of them are maidens on a flower filled island out in the middle of the sea. They originally attracted sailors with their voices as well, not their bodies. They were usually winged creatures as well. This could also be why the Siren summons that FF created were much more wing, song and feather based, like the Siren summon from FF8 and the tiny cameo she made in FF13.

The strings were to represent the harp, while the beads were to represent subtle, or small hints of hidden beauty. With the back tablet shaped like a teardrop, I wanted to try and get across the feeling of loneliness, or being isolated. I'm pretty sure only awesome people will have read this far into my artists comments, however. If you're reading this line then know that you are incredibly awesome.
Anyways, I also decided to make it Shima because I've had much fun roleplaying and just drawing her lately. That's where the ponytail idea came from. C=</sub>
