I dyed my hair pink as a testimony to a change. I’ve gained weight for my health despite my negative feelings
towards doing so. I work as a care aide despite thinking I can’t help anyone. I survived my first Alberta winter
despite the threat of homelessness and a broken car and I’ve done so many other little things to try and better
myself. My girlfriend is an amazing trans woman and I’m finally starting to accept what that means about my
own sexuality and my future with her.
I'm trying to evolve, I'm trying to grow.
I'm ready for spring, I think.
